Starbucks Bodum Double-walled plastic French press?
My husband gave me this plastic bodum press which he got from Starbucks. The first time I used it, after pouring boiling water, I heard a cracking sound. I checked all around but found no cracks but did not use it from then on.
Is this plastic French press really for brewing just like the glass French press. Can it really hold boiling water? Please enlighten me with this.
Certainly. If it leaks then there is a fault in it and you should return it for a new one. If it made the noise but there is no problem just use it the same as any other French Press.
I love Bodum - couldn't live without my tea pot or French Press.
