How long until I show a weight loss on the scale?
I have started working out daily (today is day 7) no matter what I make sure I work out. Ive cut my calories down to about 1800 a day and am really good about that as well. My question is, Ive only lost about 1 pound. This isnt discouraging me, I feel amazing, but I was wondering how long it would be until I really started to lose the weight? Should I just stop weighing myself for awhile? Any advice would help, thank you.
one week is not near enough time for it to start showing, and honestly I wouldn't pay attention to the scale at all. You can look at yourself in the mirror and tell how much better you are working, which is more accurate than a scale telling you. The more you work out the more muscle you will gain, thus causing the scale to be very misleading. If you are running all the time your legs will put on a good couple lbs of muscle.
I honestly wouldn't resort to the scale ever, just look at yourself, you will know if you are looking better
